Taejo drummed his fingers gently against the steering wheel as his baby, his red Ascari A10, neared the starting point for the drag race he'd agreed to. Music filtered through the sound system he'd installed, though he was quick to turn it down when he caught sight of figure just barely clipped by his headlights. He slowed to a stop at the mouth of the tunnel, and set his car into park before he stepped out, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Liu sent you, didn't he."

Reno lifted his head as the conspicuous red car pulled up, something like curiosity in his expression as the driver stepped out. He let his cigarette drop to the ground to be smothered under his heel, wanting the distraction for his restless fingers and mouth but knowing better than to not have both hands free. Pausing to brush stray hair out of his face, he straightened from the tunnel wall, approaching with a leisurely walk.

"What gave me away?" Reno drawled in reply to the blunt greeting, "Let's get straight down to business, yeah? You don't strike me as the kinda guy who likes to have his time fuckin' wasted, and my boss wants this wrapped up nice."

Taejo shifted to lean just slightly against the side of his car, hooking his thumbs into the pockets of his tailored slacks. "I told him what I wanted in exchange for throwing the race, but I'm assuming he doesn't want to pay quite that much."

He leveled his gaze on Reno's, noting the unnatural almost-glow to the green eyes. This could get very interesting, very fast.

The racer didn't look terribly impressed, but Reno didn't seem bothered by it. Intimidation wasn't really his game, at least not solo. It was a different story, when tag teaming a victim between himself and his significantly larger, well-built partner. Slender and casually sloppy Reno didn't make the same sort of first impression, despite packing a punch of his own. But, this sort of business required a certain method-- he'd negotiate first, before he let things get physical.

"You're assumin' right," Reno replied, a habitual hint of mocking to his voice. "So, you see the Boss's problem, yeah? What are we gonna do with you?" He smiled, slow and unfriendly. "Here's the way I see it. You either name terms we like better, or... Y'know, I might have to get my suit dirty."
