Kaylee had spent much of her day hunched over the same engine block from an old Fiat, and she was quite certain that she was a mess (her hair in utter disarray, grease and oil coating her coveralls and arms almost completely). A voice broke through her day-long reverie, and she looked up toward the door with a big smile on her face.

"Hey there! What can I do for ya?"

Oh, thank God, someone was around. "Hi," Pepper said sheepishly. She seemed to be interrupting another project, and she prayed the woman could make time to look at the piece of junk sitting outside. "My car broke down, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look at it. Some stroke of luck landed me right outside, actually, just across the street... Would you mind?" Pretty please? Pepper will feed you! Since Tony couldn't be bothered to come get Pepper, Pepper could give Tony's favorite dish (and his money, since it was his car she'd be fixing) to the generous soul who would help her.

"Oh, sure!" Kaylee grinned at the other woman as she reached for a nearby rag to wipe her hands off quickly. She stepped around her current pet project and made her way toward Pepper, her stomach letting out a quiet growl at the smell of mushu pork. It was then that the mechanic realized she hadn't eaten since breakfast... but she would take care of that after taking care of her customer.

"I'm Kaylee Frye, by the way." She didn't offer her hand for a shake, knowing quite well that there was still oil staining her palm. She did offer another smile.
