Having missed a good chunk of the back half of her schooling, Yuffie had often taken a certain amount of time trying to catch up on the various things she had missed by hightailing it as a kid. She had no real way to return to school because of her lack of a guardian when she was in her younger teens so she simply never did. She still however wanted to learn. If only so she didn't look dumb when common things people learned in highschool came up in conversation. This meant that the library was to a certain extent her friend. She had spent about an average of 2 hours a week collecting books and dragging them to whatever dump of an apartment she lived in at the time. Either that or dragging them to a friends place so she didn't forget them when she moved again ( ... )

He turned toward her, slowly and unintentionally dramatically. His intense gaze fell on the girl, his strange glowing green eyes locking with hers, finding them even in that darkness.

"It's fine; I'm not injured. Or surprised." In a split second, he performed a quick study of the girl--she was surprised alright, but it wasn't necessarily because of who he was so much as his lurking in a dark corner. "I apologize for being so quiet in this corner."

There was a short pause as he allowed the girl to compose herself, and having noted her bag piled full of books, he figured that she was probably a student. She probably frequented the place rather often, and chances were high that they'd run into each other more often since Sephiroth intended to drop by the library whenever he wanted some quiet time to be alone. Preferably undisturbed.

"I suppose you come here often enough--try not to walk so fast at least," he advised.

Yuffie was not often unnerved by people, between her job, and having her best friend be a half delusional kid with a wing, she wasn't particularly easy to scare. But she found herself thoroughly creeped out. His manner was just...off to her. She attempted to smile at him anyways, but it kinda came out a little strained.

"Oh no problem I mean I was the one running around back here so you really shouldn't apologize." She said adjusting the pile of books so she wouldn't drop them.

"Well um...okay" Yuffie went to her normal table a few feet over and continued. "Well um, I'll try not to bother you. I really am sorry for running into you like that I don't normally see people back here."

He wouldn't express it, but he found her reaction quite amusing. The attempt to hide her discomfort behind a smile, the way she hastily excused herself... Yes, these were the slightest bit entertaining.

"Ah. That's understandable. I've only returned to the area recently, however, so I believe I will be frequenting this place more often."

With that, Sephiroth turned back toward the shelves and began searching for another book of interest.

Tsuna walked through the doors of the library with a sigh. He made a b-line for the computers to use the catalog system. Tsuna plugged in the name of each book slowly taking his time. Once he had the location of each book, the errand boy stood and started his search among the shelves.

The tall dark man was standing in the way of what the other needed. A former Vescovo who'd vanished nearly a decade ago, and he was now here, skimming through a book while standing right in front of one of the books that Tsuna needed.

Tsuna scanned the sectional numbers looking for the last book on his list. He mumbled the numbers as he got closer and closer to Sethiroth. In all honestly he had no idea about the other’s defection to the Vescovo and really chose not to care.

Thin eyebrows came together as he found that a body was blocked the way to the book. Earth toned eyes glanced up at the looming shadowy figure and froze. Somewhere in his body his animal senses told him that this stranger was dangerous and he should just walk away, but the logical side of his brain told him that he needed that book. Tsuna’s eyes darted back and forth to the body and the shelf before saying:

“Um…Sir?”

He lowered the book, shifting glowing green eyes to look at the other. It wasn't that Sephiroth was interrupted -he was really just reviewing the book- but he had to have that dramatic effect, regardless of whether or not the other was of any importance to him. The tall man stared him down with an intense gaze as if boring holes through him.

The man didn't look particularly important or intriguing...

"Yes?"

...but it didn't mean that Sephiroth was going to give him a break or make it easy.
