The day after the fashion show--EARLY AFTERNOONISH. venusgiapponese May 27 2008, 22:48:23 UTC
Even her sleep hadn't cleared her mind--she was still worried about Hitsugaya. After waking, she dragged herself up before dressing moderately conservatively -as conservative as a casual, loose t-shirt top and tight jeans could be on her- and dragging Hitsugaya to the closest diner. Maybe he just needed some cheering up. Before he could do anything about it, they were both seated in the diner, she had ordered up a storm for them, and she'd promised to pay.

The catch being, of course, that Hitsugaya was the one who actually balanced her checkbook in the first place. Which inevitably meant that he was going to handle it anyway.

But she'd turned a deaf ear to his protests and arguing, so there was no convincing her that eating out was a bad idea even after they'd just moved and should really be pinching every penny that they had.

Just because he was dragged out of the apartment didn't mean he hadn't prepared. He was properly in his undercover disguise--black-haired wig, brown-eyed contacts in place. Hitsugaya's biggest problem was his height: there was no disguising the fact that he was short.

Either way, if Matsumoto was insisting they go, there was no way he'd let her go alone. That was how he'd wound up stuck. He was determined to finish every bit of food she ordered--the diner was relatively reasonably priced, but still. Waste was not something he'd allow in their current financial situation.

At least she'd tucked her wavy, dark-blonde hair into a straight-haired, sunshine-blonde wig. The role was 'Anna'--she didn't have to look amazing, and she didn't want to put much effort into it if she didn't need to. Although she could pretty much get away with doing nothing and still looking beautiful...

She scanned the diner. No one around really stood out, but she might as well keep her eyes peeled in case anyone struck her--not that it was easy to tell who was on whose side at any particular time, but one never knew.

"Ne, Dan~" Rangiku turned to look at the grumpy boy but smiled. "Do you think we should get anything for Sake?"

She looked just about ready to call a waiter or waitress for a menu again.

He had to put his drink back down on the table before he could answer.

"You want to buy food for a cat at a diner?"
