Prosciutto had learned some time ago that there were more buses going towards the airport than away from it. It was a quaint little fact that he found amusing given the city he lived in. The fact that there was more demand to leave the city than to arrive their always put a smile on his face. And as the bus that dropped him off at the designated bar drove away, he couldn't help but whistle a tune to himself as he wandered up to and past the door.

The owner of the establishment knew Prosciutto. Knew him well. Prosciutto's men had worked a contract for him some time ago, getting rid of a pestersome would-be thug that was trying to hustle money out of him. Fatal mistake that he was doing so without Monacello's influence behind him...no one was left to cry when he was found one morning bled out in his own bathtub.

And as such, the bar tender gave him a friendly greeting. Calling him by name.

She'd been expecting someone fatter, honestly. She wasn't sure why, but when she first saw the man the bartender greeted her first thought was how skinny he was. With a name like that, though...

She forgot to try and catch his attention while she was staring at him, looking him over rather carefully. He didn't look as old as he said he was, but he'd said something about it before. At least, she was pretty sure he had.

Rhode took a sip of her drink before remembering herself, moving as if to stand up before remembering she was trying to be subtle. She looked a bit annoyed for a moment before sitting back, waiting for him to look in her direction so she could wave or something. This was a hassle. She couldn't wait until that stupid Caiman was dead and she could stop hiding.

"Amaretto Sour for me, Gyro. Seen a teenage kid come in here looking for me?" he asked of the tender, receiving a non-committal shrug in response. Which kind of annoyed him but whatever. Ah well, he would simply have to make a scan of the room while his drink was prepared. It wasn't crowded on a weekday, so he figured things wouldn't be so hard.

It was then he spotted a slightly antsy looking girl in the corner. In spite of her attempts at being conspicuous, to eyes like his she stood out like a bleeding stump. That had to be her.

He took his drink and walked over to the table slowly, bringing his appearance into clearer view...

Beyond being lanky, Prosciutto was apparently a very sharp dresser. Odd patterns, but his clothes were well tailored, possibly custom made. They flattered him well enough, but the entire suit was offset by the exceptionally odd charm he wore around his neck. A magatama charm...how odd.

"So this is the infamous Rhode Camelot, eh?"

Rhode glanced at the table when she realized he was looking her over, wishing for a moment that she hadn't dressed like a complete mess. This wasn't the kind of first impression she liked to give people. The fact that she was thinking about that meant she'd been hanging around Kris too much, she realized, looking up at Prosciutto with a bit of a smile.

"I'd rather be infamous than nobody at all." She tilted her head a bit in the direction of the other chair, tapping a finger on the side of her glass for the sake of fidgeting. "But that's what you like to be."

"If I told you it wouldn't be any fun for anyone!" She beamed as he called her cute, moving back to Rhode and straightening her hair where she'd been knocked askew. "You don't need to know, yet~"

Rhode slid down to sit on the floor after trying to push away from the wall, legs deciding that they would not be holding her up just yet. She was shaking ever so slightly as she watched the Dead leave, a hand rubbing her throat as if to get rid of the sensation of its touch. "Yeah, she's great." Her voice betrayed her nerves, a bit too high and quivering.

"Yes yes, fantastic. But it's obvious that you still aren't certain how to use her," Prosciutto remarked as he took another cigar from his coat pocket. It was a tad smashed, much to his chagrin. One of his cheaper ones, he figured. Ah well, he lit it anyways.

"But, as I was trying to say before, until that Stand is capable of beating someone like me to the punch, you won't be able to kill anyone. Muraki wasn't a normal human, and he would have easily beaten you."

Rhode looked fit to spit at that remark, sputtering for a moment before finally speaking. "You have been refusing to give me so much as a hint since you gave me this thing and you have the nerve to act like I should know how to use it?!"

Muraki's name ruffled her a bit, and she fell silent, hand tightening slightly on her throat as the shadow of something dark passed over her expression.

"He's dead. It doesn't matter."

"No one taught us a damn thing when we first discovered the Arrows. The Vescovo family has had five years to fucking figure it out and spoil themselves with science. L'Squadra didn't have those luxuries. Our skills were earned on the streets. The only reason I'm bothering to say a fucking word now is because, as it turns out, the Vescovo house is still using Stand arrows on new Soldati. Those two kids at the club, for instance," he explained, taking a few hard puffs of his cigar.

"And you used it in front of Gavin. And who knows what other high ranking family member saw you. They KNOW what that is, Rhode, and I have no doubt your fucking pension will run out soon of they link you back back to us."

"It was an accident!" Her voice was raised again, hands clenched and nails digging into her palms as she realized what he was saying. "I haven't used it before then! He was going to be shot and I just- I don't know what. Nobody saw it, Kris didn't see it. Kris doesn't know."

"You gave it to me. You can't act like you didn't think I'd use it. Or you did, because that's why you gave it to me in the first place, right? To see some crazy kid lose it while you watched and laughed." Rhode seemed to remember her encounter with his Stand rather quickly, edging along the wall a bit as if worried it would be coming at her again.

"Quit acting like a brat and think, will you?" he chided, delivering a swift punch with Dead's massive hand. He made certain no mark would be left...he wasn't about to leave his imprint somewhere Gavin could easily find it.

"When I gave you that Stand, you weren't Gavin's charge. You weren't even in that house. Things are different now and you're a commodity. And trust me, he WILL find out. That bastard has eyes and ears just about everywhere."
