Squalo, as he often did, spent his off days here at the record store seeing what he could possibly find amongst the used vinyls to add to his expansive collection of classic printings. Vintage punk, rockabilly, progressive, and blues were the order of the day as he made his way through the many many stacks and boxes. Often times he'd troll for conversation as well, loving to get into heated arguments about music, artists, and the business in general. If he hadn't joined the mafia...he's likely be a musician.

The used records were dusty, a fact that Muraki didn't notice until some puffed up and settled on his white coat. There had certainly been worse things on the coat than just dust, but he still made a face and brushed it off. He seemed to be looking for blues tonight and looked more fully at the young man digging through the box next to him.

"Anything in particular you're looking for?" he asked politely, simply trying to start a conversation. From his hairstyle, Muraki would have figured him to dig through the punk albums, not this part of the store.

Squalo looked up from his searching, something of a smirk on his face. This guy looked like a real square...but if he was in this section, he'd have to at least know his tunes. So, being the sort of person he was, he assumed he was at least good to talk to...handsome too.

"Muddy Waters, my man. Good old fashioned misery music...you know he recorded some of his music in the bathroom just for the acoustics? Far out, friend. Far. Out."

"You look too young to enjoy miserable music. But some people get their doses of that early in life, I suppose." Muraki thought for a moment, mind racing to the albums he didn't listen to often, but took care of because they'd belonged to his family. "I believe I have some of his music in my store room. It used to belong to my older brother."

The offer seemed innocent, just a suggestion of music from one enjoyer or it to another. And the look on his face gave nothing away to suggest it was more than that.

Squalo sort of just rolled his head around, looking about for nothing in particular. The music seemed flow in and out of his head at the beat, and he had almost entirely forgotten that he was being touched save the pleasant afterglow he was experiencing.

"I...yeah...good, I think..."

"That's good." Muraki pushed his glasses up and dug through a drawer until he found what he needed next. With no way to be certain how long the drug and its amnesiac effect would work, it would be best to get this part done with sooner rather than later.

The small box held a blood drawing kit and he ran a finger across the crook of Squalo's arm. "This part will hurt a little, but at least it'll be over with fast. I just want to see if your blood is any different because of what you took," he assured.

"Hu-what?" Squalo's eyes widened as he began to shake and attempt to fight. Panic rolled through his mind and it seemed the dip into a minor chord in the music couldn't come at a more opportune moment to send him into the arms of fear.

His grin darkened. "Don't make me hurt you, Squalo. This will be over faster if you don't fight." Muraki set the kit down for a moment and glared. He really didn't want to get violent, but if the teen continued to try and push him away, there would be no choice.
