It hadn't been hard to get in. After all, he was a thief. Breaking into places was his specialty ( ... )

Layered strawberry blonde hair had been tucked into wig; she entered the club as a straight-haired brunette. Rangiku always had several IDs on her for various occasions--it was the same with cell phones, after all. Although currently, she only had two but hoped that her collection would grow as time went on. For the meanwhile, the two (AMC line and an international public line) would have to do ( ... )

X, for his part, was short and slender, a mere 5'4", though the cut of his suit made him look a little taller. With black hair, just messy enough to be roguish without being wild or untamable, and bright, intelligent eyes, the youthfulness, almost boyishness of his appearance could work against him...

But, if, as he suspected, there was more to Ran than just what she appeared to be-- or if there was exactly to Ran what she presented herself to be; it was a dangerous line to walk-- his youthfulness wouldn't matter as much to her as... other things.

Eyes casually scanning the room as he sipped at his drink, he spotted a woman, unmistakably beautiful, eyes scanning the room. He was certain that the hues of their hair didn't match... but other attributes, very difficult to fake, fit Ran perfectly. He considered for a moment moving to intercept her before glancing around once. Well, if she wasn't Ran, it wouldn't hurt to get a closer look, and if she was, well... he was right. There was more to her ( ... )

Ran was a model height of 5'7"--just a little taller than her date, it seemed. Of course, she was one of those high maintenance women who fancied the three-inch heels even though she didn't need the extra height. So she stood taller than her date by about half a foot.

Of course, when he'd first approached her, she wasn't entirely sure of whether or not it was him until he spoke with her about his date.

Unfortunately, it was very hard for Rangiku to speak (or write, for that matter) without naturally slipping into the occasional Japanese. "Ara~ Mm, something like that, hai. My date's supposed to have a stuffy name or something, ne?" She'd said it all with such playfulness and no intention of making fun of it, that was for sure. "Would that happen to be you?"

Because if it was him, then she could skimp out on switching to Ran and hurry over to order a drink...

Kaoru was very excited to be doing his first major scouting job. So, decked out in a snazzy white suit at his Egregio Signore's behest, Kaoru made his way towards Club Lilith. He wasn't sure he'd get a chance to speak to the young woman who'd made the advertisement, but he'd decided to give it a try.

Walking into the club for the first time - around 9:45pm - he surveyed the whole room in a circuit first before venturing anywhere else, all the while looking for anyone he knew...

Or might want to get to know.

Now instead of running around like her head cut off, Lenalee was going from guest to guest, greeting enthusiasically, assigning tables and hostesses, as people almost poured in from the streets.

The ad had gone better than she had thought it would.

She bit her lower lip a little bit, a bubble of excitement building within her.

Tonight... just maybe tonight.

She had just assigned a table when she noticed a young Asian man with ginger hair step into the club. Her heart nearly stopped beating for a second; it was the same reaction she had every time she saw someone of Asian descent. Taking a deep breath and forcing herself to calm down, Lenalee approached him with a charming smile. "Hello, good sir, and how are you this fine evening? Welcome to Lilith!"

Kaoru watched the young woman approach him and smiled pleasantly, his four years with his old school's Host Club refreshing his memory instantly on formalities. He bowed to her and then extended a hand, peering up at her in his tailored suit.

"Buona sera, yourself, young lady, and thank you for your kind greeting. My name is Hitachiin Kaoru and I am very well indeed now that I've found myself at this lovely establishment. Who might you be?"

He certainly couldn't let his patron down, now could he?

Used to the suave attention, Lenalee took the formal greeting in stride. At least, he seemed sincere, which was more than she could say for most men who walked through these doors. She was little surprised that he came here alone. He was handsome, definitely of status, so surely he would have at least someone hanging off his arm looking for a good time.

"Lenalee D'Angelo, daughter of owner," she replied to his question sweetly, even tilting her head a little for effect. "And your hostess for this evening."
Actually, the table had been assigned to someone else, but Lenalee felt this young man would be worth talking more to. After making arrangements for the original girl to be assigned another table, Lenalee returned to Kaoru with a dazzling smile and led him to their seats.

Well, Rinoa did live in the 'super rich' district. It was one of the only parts of the city that contained mansions with actual yards.

Now that she was pretty much ignoring Squall- her bodyguard, Rinoa considered herself free to go and do as she pleased.

She heard about Club Lilith, and was a bit curious about the place. What was it, really? Was it just a night club or was it a strip joint? If it was the latter, Rinoa would surely be in for an interesting night.

Naivety was her forte, unfortunately. At least if Squall followed her, he'd have to sit through and evening of strippers as well. Now that would be thoroughly entertaining.
