Glancing up, she kept from looking surprised at his attire (she hadn't truly expected him to be aware) and instead gave him a tight nod and a motion to sit.
"And you are dressed surprisingly acceptable for the occasion."
Taking the menu from the edge of the table after him, she pretended to look through the list and options while she discreetly observed Hiruma. He was one of the few members of her team who seemed competent and capable, but his rather brash manner and attitude were both something to watch for. She'd have to use this evening as a step towards fully assessing him and seeing his worth, and the addition of having a dish of Alfredo was a nice way to go about it.
She raised an eyebrow from over the top of the menu before placing it back down.
"Are you ready to order?"

"Well," he started, tapping a finger on his chin, "I'll try that Alfredo stuff you mentioned before. Haven't had the stuff since I was a kid really." Hiruma sighed and leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers on the table top.
Franziska was somethin' else. Hiruma himself never met a woman with her kind of dominance before. He noted the familiar shape under her shirt. Her whip. His smile widened before he redirected his gaze back up to her. Prepared as always to discipline, even if the individual didn't work under her authority.
But he always loved to pick at his superiors sometimes. Hiruma couldn't help it.
"Is this one of those restaurants who offer free bread sticks too?"

As if on cue, a waiter walked towards them to take their order with a basket of baked bread. She tucked the menu in his waiting hands after he placed the bread down and looking straight into his eyes, she gave her order, her voice just as prim and proper as it had always been.
"I'll be having a dish of Shrimp Alfredo--do be careful with the amount of broccoli--and the finest wine you have to offer in your restaurant."
Weaving her fingers together, she raised an eyebrow at Hiruma and waited for his order, in the meanwhile making sure to adjust the tablecloth so it hid the bulge of her whip. It wouldn't do good to have it confiscated from the hands of such fools, and even though they'd never succeed, she wasn't in the mood to waste her time dealing with garbage tonight.
