At the sound of the door, the young girl leapt up from her seat at the kitchen table, sprinting and stumbling over a wayward piece of furniture on her way. The crash that followed must have been pretty loud--but Orihime was up on her feet the next second, heading across the small apartment to reach the front door. An embarrassed blush crept across her cheeks, but it didn't take away from the wide smile on her lips or the excitement she felt at finally getting the chance to meet her friend. The young girl was dressed casually, and all but wrenched the door off its hinges in her rush to greet the long-awaited visitor. She'd been dying to see him--even though Orihime was, well...awful at handling a computer, what she hadn't known she'd been patiently taught over the course of these last few months, and she was grateful for that. "Oh, don't worry about it! That happens all the time." Which was certainly enough to make anyone worry, all things considered. "A piece of furniture isn't going to stop me from answering the door when you're here, Ishida

And, just as he had never been hugged by a girl outside of his family before, neither, before, had any girl held his hand before. Needless to say, despite his most valiant efforts to make it go away, his blush may have gotten more than a tad worse. At the very least, Orihime seemed so lost in her own train of thought and didn't notice. It was... unexpected endearing. He could see why her letters so often seemed to be written in stream of consciousness
