Rhode had barely scraped by on time, getting ready with the clothes she'd bought with Hokuto and taking down a few too many painkillers and wrapping the bandage on her leg a little bit tighter. These boots were very useful; they hid her injury and made it easier to walk without her injury being obvious.

She made her way down the front steps very carefully, making her way down the drive with a few glances over her shoulder. She wanted to get in and out on this date with as few people noticing as possible. Namely, a certain butler.

Johnny ran over once he spotted her, all thoughts of an ambush driven from his mind in an instant.

"Ah, Miss Rhode!" he exclaimed, "You're an absolute vision!"

He stopped in front of her and dropped to a knee, reaching forward to grasp the her hand and kiss the top of it.

"Glad you could come with me, my beauty. Right this way," he said, leading her to a nearby car. He opened the door for her, beckoning her inside.

Rhode looked a little startled at his sudden approach, taking a moment to glance down to her not-entirely-impressive outfit before looking at the man kissing her hand. This was certainly... strange.

She let him lead her to the car, smiling ever so benignly as she slid in. This could go really well, or really awkwardly. She was a bit nervous about which way it would fall.

He drove quickly, easily weaving in and out of traffic as he approached the date location. He'd been learning every in and out of this city in his bid to know all the best getaway routes. Despite his experience, he always had to be ready for thing to go wrong.

"Ah, there it is!" he said, pulling up to a building that had a sign with lights, that gave the illusion of a large, dancing dragon.

"Miss Kamelot," he opened the door for her, "We're here. I had the reservations made."

"Shakespeare." Rhode almost grinned, pushing some hair behind her ear. "I've read all of his work."

"Ah! My lady is a reader of the classical works?" he said, "I see. What of the city, how well are you used to it? Is there something you've wanted to see, but can't?"

"If they're interesting enough." She paused to think for a moment, nails scraping the tablecloth lightly. "I've seen some of it. After I got my bike, it was easier, but I use it to get around more than see things."

"Hm. Does it bore you? Being in this city, I mean."

"Good to hear," he smiled, finishing off the last of the sushi he wanted, "You can have the rest, or set it aside."

He started to fish out a few notes from his pocket, then called over the server girl and asked for the bill.

"Would you like a desert, then?"
