WHO: Zack spikeysoldier, Tseng black_honor, and his little spies. >:) You know who you are. WHAT: The first Rite of Manhood WHERE: Turk HQ WHEN: At night after this.
"Zachary." Tseng nodded his head in greeting when he entered the office. He watched him settle yet again in front of him. It had been almost a game of cat and mouse between them. Sometimes Tseng summoned Zack. Sometimes Zack showed up with news for Tseng. It was reassuring to know that this visit it was his turn.
Tseng rolled his expensive chair over to the window to peek out of the blinds. After a moment he looked back at Zack once more and arched a brow.
"You'll need a better car. Elena likes Bugattis." Finally he smiled. He could almost imagine the look on Zack's face when he did the research and found out how much they actually cost.
"You may have noticed that I act almost like a father to Elena." He was practically speaking Zack's thoughts aloud. Putting him more at ease perhaps. "I like to think of myself in such a way. Especially since she had no proper father figure." He rolled back to his desk. "She tells me that your father has passed away as well."
"I like my honda..." he said with a small frown. Why were they hating on his car so much? It was nice. It got him from location A to location B. Good gas mileage. What was so bad about that huh? But he did sit at attention as he continued to speak. And Tseng was dead on, on his thoughts and all. It was almost scary. Maybe he had some kind of crystal ball or magic cards he stuffed away before Zack came in here. Who knows? This guy was full of mysteries.
Zack's face was wiped away of curiosity and was replaced by firmness. "Yessir. That is correct. He died in the line of duty, which is why I became a soldier at the AMC."
Tseng actually chuckled softly when Zack defended his car. "But Zachary. Marriage isn't about what the husband wants or likes." Did he not know that? "I had three wives. I speak from experience."
His face likewise turned serious at the mention of Zack's father. "I see. If possible I'd like to be that sort of model for you as well." Tseng folded his hands on the desk. "You see Zack. There are certain customs. Marriage customs in my culture. And it would be an honor if you would allow me to guide you through them."
