Kensei knew where the place was... he always walked right by it while he was off running... errands. Never did he ever walk in to the place. He needed a job, yeah... but... he was thinking more of looking to be a bouncer at a bar or a bartender even. But, shit, it looked like without even trying he got himself employed in an adult bookstore. Normally he'd say no, and not bother... but when he had walked past the store, he did see the girl working in there. She was kind of cute.

Still, where the hell was this bookstore shit going to fit in with his real job? Hopefully the lady wasnt going to ask too much from him. Leading a double life was a pain in the ass. Everyday working joe by day-- a fucking killer by night? He made a face. Damn, was that as lame sounding as he thought it was

Of the potential perks of the job, Lisa didn't consider herself to be one of them. And while he might've thought her kind of cute in passing...well, that's because he didn't have to deal with Lisa's mouth through the glass.

She didn't look up from her manga, not even when he introduced himself. She'd been expecting him so he hardly counted as a surprise. "Application's on the counter." Lisa instructed. "Just so I have it on file." Any curiosity that she might have seemed confined to the pages in front of her. But Lisa did glance up once he was busying himself with the paperwork. Her eyes flickered over him. He was tall, well-built. He obviously took care of himself. It made her wonder what he did on the side. Because there's more than meets the eye to just about everyone in Reggio Calabria.

And then...it came to her.

"I hope you realize that I can't pay you as much as the strip clubs."

Seeing that she was entrapped by her reading materia, Kensei took the application in his hands and clicked the pen-- noticing its little "feature" but not really caring-- and had already started filling it out... not even noticing that she looked him over. He stopped writing once he heard what she said, and he looked up from the paper.

"...What was that?" He rose his pierced eyebrow, giving her a slightly irritated look.

"Are you deaf?" Lisa stared back at him flatly before repeating. "I said I can't pay you as much as the strip clubs." Though there's that other possibility. A prostitute maybe? He had the look that a lot of people go for, male and female alike. "A hundred bucks an hour is out of the question too."

That irritated look would probably have at least some effect on most, but Lisa seemed strangely immune to it. Her book was finally placed aside so that she could stand and take the application. "That's good enough." Lisa turned away and pushed open a door that led into another room before glancing back over her shoulder at him. "Coming?"

Britanny wasn't one to usually go into places like this but she was in the area and her curiosity got to her. Beside, who could resist a good erotic book every now and again or a copy of Beefcake Monthly?

The bell dinged over head as she walked in, her intention was just to browse unless something caught her interest. The seven foot woman with cheetah features made her way toward the nearest row, her keen eyes scanning over the covers of the magazines. Nothing there that really caught her interest. Her tail flicked behind her as she made her way on to the next row.

Getting to the desk he saw a woman... fuck. A tall woman. Taller than him. Well.. she was woman-like. Definately not a woman he had ever seen before. Figuring it was an adult store he thought he'd ask the obvious question. "Hey, can I help you find anything?" Shit, wasnt THAT the question. He didnt know where anything was.

Britanny blinked and looked up from the rack she was browsing over and smiled. The silver-haired man that had addressed her was pretty cute. "Just browsing." she replied before turning back to the rack. Once again nothing of interest on that one so she moved onto the next row. She eyed the books there before looking up again.

"You wouldn't happen to have the new copy of Beefcake Monthly would you?" she asked.

Fucking saved. Of course he didnt know the answer to that question, he just got there. He looked over at the woman that hired him and nudged towards the customer. "I dont know, do we?"
