Damnit.

I wasn't expecting an earhtquake here.

Windows are broken.  Several fragile things fell from their places and have smashed.  The structure itself is sound though.

If anyone is looking for clean up work or easy money, don't hesitate to head over.  I could use the help.

I wouldn't worry too terribly about the clinic. If my calculations are correct, Christmas will come early, and such material worries will likely vanish...

I thought you lived in Japan before this. You should be used to earthquakes~

And I'll assume this means that I'm not needed to work there, though you can pass my home address along to any regulars who seem interested.

Up For A Party? l_giuseppeadama December 20 2008, 15:32:37 UTC
Perhaps there may be an opportunity for you here yet. If we can get this place cleaned up today I may be able to host my Solstice Party this year.

You live within 200 km of three active volcanoes and you don't expect there to be earthquakes?

I had forgotten, I've been away for years.

Thankfully I lived in japan, what I built was make to withstand earthquakes.

Well building to withstand earthquakes is done here too. There is even a technique that can be used to reinforce older buildings with metal alloy rods, Perhaps your building makes use of those technologies.

I'm sorry that you lost some fragile things though. Were they particular treasures?

A Solstice Party l_giuseppeadama December 20 2008, 15:30:06 UTC
Ah! I know, we'll have my Solstice Party here. People can come during the day to help clean and when the sun goes down we can start the party. That will get the place cleaned up right away. What do you think?
