01: You Kidding Me?

All I wanted was a damn coffee. Stupid earthquake comes along and shuts down everything. Pain in my arse. One of the drags about Italy.

Business is back up, at least. I need some action. Or just to take the piss out of someone, I dunno.

Still need that coffee too. Really can only get good coffee in Italy, you know?

Indeed, a pain. Difficult to do your job with the earth cracking beneath you.

There's this lovely little cafe at the corner market that serves my favourite spiced tea; I'd hazard a guess that the coffee would be just as good. I'd recommend trying there, assuming the building survived.

Well, actually, a earthquake could be useful. Accidents and all that. But as I was just trying to get a stupid coffee, it ain't so useful.

I was never a tea bloke. I know, irony. But I guess I could check it out.

Hopefully the scenery will be a bit better.

Believe me, I know the irony. Grew up in Britain.

From just a guess, and given your name... Irish? Scottish?

They do serve more than just tea, so it would be worth it to check out.

Let's see, I could either respond by saying mother nature can be a real bitch, or with a suggestive comment about idle hands...but yes.

Coffee on the one hand, earthquakes on the other. I suppose every place has it's up and downs.

Either one would be true.

Well, it's really good coffee.

Something else for your coffee? Getting shaken like that it's now time for something stirred.

I like the way you think, mate.

May as well enjoy ourselves. The last place I was that had an earthquake there was a volcanic eruption right on its heels.
