I've been here a few weeks. I've just been so preoccupied with everything. I feel like I need to buy a camera or something. There's too much to see!

You'll get used to it eventually. Once you do, it won't seem as big anymore! It'll still be pretty, though--you kinda forget that it's pretty after you've lived here for a while.

I haven't even done any touristy things yet. I can't wait to embarrass myself in the museums.

Especially here. People seem kinda lonely, really.

But they're also too scared to speak up. Makes me wonder if there's something horrible going on somewhere.

The world is full of horrible things, but that's no reason to avoid people. If you would like company for conversation, I wouldn't mind joining you some afternoon. I like artists.

The skyline is quite beautiful come sunset, yes. I have found it to be especially pleasing over the water.
