For anyone who isn't clear on this:

Expiration dates are not suggestions.

Zack, I hope you weren't too attached to a lot of the stuff in your fridge. Because I cleaned it out while you were out getting your prescription filled. Yeah, I kinda...let myself in.

...Do you own stock in Ramen? I've never seen that many packs.

Terribly unhealthy.

Agreed. He's probably giving himself food poisoning on a daily basis. At least I hope it's that simple.

The girl I'm taking care of is a pretty good chef, if you ever want cooking tips from her.

Breakfast is my specialty, but it looks like I need to learn more about making lunches too. I might take you up on that.

W...WHAT!?

Elena! That's not fair! You could have at least told me first!

And give you a chance to sneak some of it back in? No way. You didn't tell me you were still sick.

It's just some stomach pains! It's nothing that bad....

Until we know what it is? Dry toast and tea for you.

Expiration dates have never given me any trouble; just eat the food and forget about the damned numbers.

If you haven't eaten it by the expiration date, you probably don't want it anymore anyway.

Food and numbers have no business being next to each other. That said, I'm certain I have eaten "expired" food before. I have suffered no ill effects- what, as they say, is the big deal?

Some people have stronger stomachs than others. When your stomach's been hurting for days and you don't know why, then it becomes a big deal. Time to start eliminating possible causes.

Oh my! Even I knew that!

I always thought it was common knowledge too. But you should've seen some of the stuff he had in there. I was horrified.

What's left? You might be able to make a meal from it.

Well, let's see...

Some Fruit Loops, a can of corn, two frozen pizzas, and a jar of pickles. Talk about a challenge.

I heard it was a good food to have available for college when you're in the dorms. It's quick and easy to make, so I guess it's not that big of a surprise that Zack has so much~

I'm guilty of having some cup ramen myself. But this was like...a wall. It can't be healthy to eat that much of it.

memoria_persa August 3 2008, 02:13:35 UTC
That much of it, huh? That's probably more than I could eat in a lifetime, from the sound of it. Yeah, that probably isn't all that healthy.
