Don't you guys ever get tired of dressing up all the time? These parties are so fancy and complicated. Most of the time they just seem like too much work to really be worth it.

Playing with Mieu would be more fun than most of those parties and that's saying something.

Finally. Someone agrees. Glad to know not every one in this town is addicted to parties.

They're overrated. Although I still have to attend most of them.

I've always had to attend parties, too. I usually find a way to sneak out once everyone starts mingling.

It's not that bad. Some people actually enjoy coordinating outfits for things like that.

Yeah.

That's weird. Where's the fun in that?

It's... what happens when you end up being around a fashionista for so long. And even then, it's always been a natural thing for me, anyway? I'm not saying all girls did, but I'm sure a lot of them used to play 'dress up' when they were little~

...Maybe it's a girl thing then. Or a kid thing. 'Cause I definitely don't like getting dressed up for stuffy parties.

A man must know how to fancy himself up a bit. All the better to attract beautiful women, hm?

So you're one of those 'anything for a pretty face' kind of guys. Though, if that's what you're going for, then you're probably right.

I prefer the term "chivalrous", but yet. Aside from that, though, it is helpful in other areas. The worlds judges based on what it sees of you. If you take care of your appearance, you'll generally get better treatment.

I look just fine. Besides, taking care of yourself isn't the same as dressing up.

Parties are great if you want to meet people. Can't say they're my thing, though.

I usually end up causing some sort of trouble. On accident.

Parties are still boring. The trouble you cause might actually be more interesting.

Well...it's not usually my fault, per se...

Uh-huh.

Sure it isn't.

Luke my boy, you know I'd normally agree with yah, but...

Well, let's just say the masq was special. Besides, you seem to pretty up nice enough.

Special? How was it any different than any other party?

Er. Thanks? But that's not the point, Soiree.

It was special to me because of a special someone being there.

What I'm saying is that they can be special for YOU to if, you know, you take advantage of those boyish good looks and put yourself out there.

Uhh. I guess so. I mean, parties are more fun when friends are there...

Are you saying I should get a girlfriend or something? Would that really make parties any better?
