A single smell. Touch. Breath. Injection. It will remove all capability of free will from its victims, making them vulnerable to any command or suggestion. Though they will appear entirely normal, they will do whatever they are told without question until it is gone from their system. Once they awaken, however, they will remember nothing.
Or you could simply eat it. I've heard the experience is intense enough that some never return from their 'trip'.
