Here is a closeup. More photos eventually, after I can get some good ideas for some of my homework images. This week's assignments are kicking my brain.
Killed myself opening the boxes. Definitely wrapped well in their packaging to keep them stable while being shipped. I was exhausted afterward (after feeling like crap even before I got home) so I didn't spend a lot of time with the dolls proper.
Unlike my resin, the 'personalities' are a bit weak. They're acting more like character shells at the moment. Maybe changing their eyes will help.
Still chewing on the names. Since I've been watching the anime related to the Rayne it's influenced me a little on the character. He also came with a gun so an a/u Shuichi with a weapon makes me laugh.
I'll need to get the rest of the bits unpackaged sometime this weekend. I think I'm going to scan the gun to use the image in one of my art projects. Or not.
I have to admit, I really like the Rayne doll more for some reason.

I bought a TeaYang myself too along with a bunch of BJDs. Luckily I'm an hour away from the Angelic Dreamz shop! :) (AngelicDreamz.com much easier to buy from the actual Pullip company)
The first two TeaYangs I bought had a foot snap off...as in BREAK. The feet are removable yes, but the little screw-like part snapped in half off the foot so I replaced him a day later. ...A few months later...same thing happened. Still haven't figured out how to fix him yet. o_o
A local girl I met said try heating the shoes with a hairdryer first if they're the hard plastic/rubber.
Also, the Rayne is pretty cute! :) I may buy one for myself now.

Thanks for the shoe tip! Interesting about the broken foot. I like their cute toesies. I know I can rebody them on an Obitsu but the Obitsu feet aren't as cute.
Yeah, I really like Rayne. Could be partly because I'm watching the anime with him in it at the moment. It's a good character.
What is the next meet you're going to? I can help you figure out how to pull them off and off. There's a trick to it, although I think it's simply easier to just cut down the back with a small sharp knife. It really does wonders.
(Also, they don't actually sell separate feet for the Taeyang body so that's sadly not actually an option ^____^;;)
I have no idea when I'll make another meetup. Probably the anniversary? I have to use my spoons for work and class assignments.
Ah, that makes sense about cutting the back of the shoes. Some people do that with Kelly shoes for their Pukis.
The guys are already letting me pull off their parts - feet, lower legs, hands and lower arms have all come off as I've wrestled with their clothing AND the evil plastic wrap. It surprised me for only a moment when the Andrew's foot came off. I remember you pulling Shimiko's foot off at LePeep's a few weeks ago so it wasn't completely unexpected.
I'll be at the anniversary, too. Of course also depending on spoons... My parents leave the 8th. Hopefully I'll recover in time...
They do come apart pretty easily, you just got to be careful to not snap a peg ^_^;; I cut almost all of my shoes. It's just easier xD
I haven't had an experience with the evils of the plastic wrap personally, yet. The older dolls don't come with it (they're just stained right out of the box T_____T) but most people I've talked to just got the plastic off? Dunno about that.
I finally got all the wrap off the Rayne. The Andrew only had it on his arms/hands. Rayne was wrapped from toes to a little beyond the chest joint. Arms/hands were wrapped, too, but I since I had opened the Andrew first, that wasn't surprising.
The wrap was TIGHT in some places. I had to use the scissors to snip it loose sometimes.
