Very nicely done, especially for a "rookie!" The ending was really cute and their dynamic felt very natural and real.

This might just be more of a stylistic preference, but I feel like you could have done without many of the page breaks because the passage of time or whatnot was clear without them and in your sentences carrying to and from each one, but again, I realize that might just boil down to preference.

Definitely stick with it, I hope to read more from you!
