While I was at work today, I got a call on my mobile. It was the hotel in Edinburgh - apologising profusely for messing up our evening Saturday. They offered us tickets and a complimentary meal to offer their sincere apologies.

We're going on Wednesday.

I just finished reading Invisible Country: A Journey Through Scotland by James Campbell. It was one I didn't want to finish because I loved it!
