Hahahaha I know the feeling, actually. Don't worry though, Paris or London is a LOT worse about fashion...meaning you won't stand out as much in Vienna...at least as I can recall last time I was there.

Hahaha I'm sorry! And you are fashionable...I can see you fitting into London quite nicely. I just meant, Paris and London are where all the fashion weeks are and stuff like that, whereas nothing is in Vienna.

I'm glad one of us is at least a good packer. I bring way too much and then realize that I'll only use a 1/3 of it. And most of what I brought is inappropriate. I've never been to Vienna, so I can't say it with authority, but you can't be expected to be classy 24/7. Though I do suggest a pack mule for dragging suitcases. All you need to feed them is oats!

Welcome to my world, clone. This is my dilemma every single time I pack. I know you'll figure it out, though. Cos you're you and awesome. =)

As for being worried, I wouldn't worry about that too much (pardoning the pun). Going to a foreign country for four months, I'd be worried about you if you weren't stressed about something

Packing always stresses me out more than anything else when I leave for somewhere, especially on a flight, and especially for an extended period of time. I think it's because we think we've accepted that we are going to have to leave our familiar life behind, but we don't realize it concretely until we try to take it all with us. It forces us to physically come to terms with leaving things behind.
So it's not silly. It's human.
