I was originally planning to do this tomorrow; however, the post I was doing for today was EATEN BY LJ and I couldn't face having to type it up again, so I finished up this one instead!

I've seen a lot of posts lately with people's favourite songs of the year (one of my favourites was captaincatapult's fantastic  'singles of the year' post) but I haven't found

I'm SO glad you included Lauren Pritchard, even if only as a runner-up. She has a such a fantastic voice and is such a good songwriter and I really hope her upcoming album is successful.

Yeah, she has a gorgeous voice and she would have made the top ten had I heard more music by her - I've only really heard As Shadows Do from the film The Cake Eaters

Just listened to them all and I have to say: WOW! *_*
I love Cat Power's voice! I've only known one song (I found a reason) of her, but I think I have to check out more, lol. "I Saw" is magic. I haven't heard it before (why? WHY?) Snagged it of course. Awww....his voice... <3
And the Barcelona songs! OMG! AMAZING! Thanks so much! I fell in love with them! Snagged all three!

I Saw is so magical!! I LOVE IT - I first heard it on Scrubs, I think!! That show has so much good music, it's insane!
And I am so so glad you enjoyed the Barcelona songs!! They are such a brilliant group, I love them! (I really want to make a vid to Get Up, Get Up, Get Up.)

I've got a couple of Aqualung songs, Easier To Lie and Strange and Beautiful! I love Strange and Beautiful, it's gorgeous :)

And you are most definitely an amazing vidder - the number of subscribers is definitely not a measure of ability, I think it's just a measure of how many people your vid reaches and the size of the fandom you vid to, to be honest. You are fantastic, believe me!
