I haven't noticed any definite power structure, probably because of how many different kinds of inmates there are. Some want to get redeemed, some don't... some cooperate, some kill people. You get the idea.

I may have died yesterday, but I wasn't born then. I can generally tell when I'm being intentionally deceived, but thank you for your concern.

In my experience, sometimes you simply have to test precisely how tight the leashes are and move from there.
