Just a simple stroll in the park

Kyouya stepped outside of his mansion in Cordova after having spent a fitful night filling in paper work for MDEA while strange sounds echoed around his new home all night long lingering even still into the afternoon. He originally intended to have his driver take him around the Cordova District so he could find Tamaki but his new driver was no ( Read more... )

Hughes followed after the running boys, keeping an eye on their retreat to make sure the nurse wasn't following and nothing else was going to come out of their foggy surroundings to attack them.

(ooc: we going to run into any more monsters?)

D-Daddy stop shaking me! onlyformerits February 1 2008, 05:06:00 UTC
"Calm yourself "Dear" I am sure Haruhi is still in Japan, she was scheduled to leave for Desai a few days after myself. The travel agency closed down shortly after I arrived." He pried himself out of Tamaki's grip, "Either way I am sure that "Daughter" can take care of her self. No doubt the twins are probably happy to have her to themselves while the both of us are away." He smiled slyly at Tamaki. He would never admit it but he was still really angry that he had freaked out over Tamaki's safety.

"Arrrggh! How could you leave my poor daughter in the hands of those unscrupulous demons?!" Tamaki whined, though inwardly felt a surge of joy at this turn of events.

Unless, that was, that all of Desai had become like the park. Like that....thing. He tosses the thought aside, tries to block it out.

"Hughes! A man like you must understand, back me up! A daughter cannot be left unsupervised with two ill-meaning young men!"

Listening to the two argue, it was clear to Hughes that their use of 'Mom' and 'Daddy' was in relation to themselves and a group of friends they must have left to come here. The blush that spread across Tamaki's face at the mention of this Haruhi also made it quite clear that there were some underlying emotions there.

As Kyouya appeared unconcerned about the girl's being with 'the twins', Hughes was sure they were not the 'unscrupulous demons' which Tamaki had called them. The young man was probably just jealous. So why had he left to come here when he knew he'd be leaving the girl he was interested in behind ( ... )

Summary kawaii_elicia February 9 2008, 20:59:29 UTC
Upon reaching Kyouya's home, Tamaki insisted that Hughes join them for a meal which the soldier did not turn down, hungry as he was. They did not speak of the ordeal that had transpired, instead resorting to sharing happy anecdotes of home. The terror they had all felt, and the uncertainty that lingered with their new position in this strange world of Desai lingered in the unspoken realm of silent certainty.

Hughes was of course able to acertain the conditions which brought these two young men here, and their plans to attend the Bacchus High School, while Kyouya was able to garner Hughes' difficulties in finding work. The soldier brushed aside any questions relating to his own home unless they pertained to his family, and those questions only resulted in him fawning over more pictures.

As it were, Hughes left the boys with the promise that he would keep in touch and pay Kyouya back for the meal once he had a proper job.
