Week 3 Weigh-In

I weighed myself this morning. 137. That's 2lbs down from last week - a much less confusing loss than the previous one of 5-7. Though the first one was fun... it would've been neat for it to happen again - but then I'd know there was something up with this and be concerned that I could put the weight back on really easily ( Read more... )

Wow, I got talked about off LJ? I feel like I'm famous now or something... "yeah so this crazy chick on lj that only eats like... apples... and has these dirty shoes in her avatar..."

The second part I kind of understand. I'm really lucky in that, when it comes to dieting and exercise, it's like I have an on/off switch. A couple of weeks ago I flicked it on and bam, nothing will deter me that I haven't carefully thought about. I know that many people aren't the same and the cold turkey approach isn't feasible for them. But it is true. You do stop wanting stuff. I think if I had yoghurt it'd feel weird in my mouth - and that was one of the things I was most worried about giving up! Maybe I would love it, but I just don't want it so there's no danger.

Heh, thanks. 2lbs is much more 'believable' than last week's. It'll probably slow down even more from now, but I'm happy with that :)

Congratulations! Yah, the first 4.5 pounds that I lost in the first 4 days of my diet was all freaky too...
