[/filter]I think my cat got into my journal. It feels... different somehow. Lighter, perhaps? ( Read more... )

I could always use a stay in another fancy hotel.

Wasn't it only last year, though? Professor Dumbledore said it was a special occasion, right?

I dunno. The year before that was a beach resort.

So they're definitely doing it? There's been one every year? Is it always someplace really nice?

Haven't heard anything about a conference/retreat yet.

There seems to be one every year, I think. It was in August last time though, so it could just be too early for anyone to have decided on details.

This is going to be a bit out of the blue, but when you were a girl, did Yukimi kiss you? He won't tell me, and this is one of my few chances at holding something over his head.

...Your silence speaks volumes.

[ BUT HE'S NOT GONNA HOLD IT AGAINST YOU, OF COURSE. ]

Did you really think I wouldn't find out eventually? Yukimi has an odd way of showing off.

Maybe your Owl did that?

Hmm... that's possible. Anna's always been moody. She likes taking paper wherever she can find it to make her nests.

You'll probably find some of your pages in the owlery.

You're right, I'll go take a look later. Because of her, I've taken to hiding my notes in my suitcase when I'm not using them-- she seems to enjoy scribbled pages best. It's not very convenient for a teacher...

It can't be cats, Professor. If my cat got into my journal, I would be writing on confetti right now, I can tell you that for free.

Hmm... I suppose that's true. Though usually my owl is the one that enjoys shredding paper.

Are you experiencing the same thing?

Angus eats anything he can fit in his big gob. He is quite mad and the size of a small Labrador, so a journal would be no match for him.

I do feel a freaky deaky weird feeling though.

Goodness, he sounds like a terror. Thankfully, Raphael's stayed reasonably small. He gets a lot of exercise hunting mice and birds... and some of the other cats.

[ "Freaky deaky..." What. ]

Maybe it's a seasonal thing. Or perhaps the spells on our journals are wearing out...?
