Wheeee, icons make me happy. I could spend all my time getting new icons, if I had enough space for them. <3 Now all I have to do is find out which ones I really want to use, and which ones I just like.

I didn't like Near the first time I read Death Note but I feel like I've gotten to where I understand him a bit better now and like him more, hopefully! Fruits Basket is really good but very heartwrenching and gets pretty depressing sometimes. I recommend it, though. =)

Also, dang, that's awesome to be able to talk to your bishop like that. I wish I could.

I was indifferent to him when he first came in, I liked Mello a lot better. But then I started reading people's speculations about why he does what he does, and it clicked. I don't usually act like him, but if I hadn't actively decided not to, I would. The way we tend to observe, to push people away, to look at everything analytically, to fiddle with things... heck, I even twirl my hair like he does, or I did until I grew it out. It boggles my mind that the character wasn't based on me when I was, say, 11. But he really wasn't a terribly likeable character, was he? Not until the end. I liked him then. :) I did have the impression that Fruits Basket was pretty depressing... I'll have to make sure not to read it after school's started--from the sound of it, it'll eat my brain. But hey, if I do read it soon, you'll get to see me flail about it in my journal ( ... )
