Ummm, having...good feelings around them? You don't want to do something bad to them? It's nice when they smile or talk...

>A friend denotes co-operative, symbiotic, and supportive behavior between two or more units.

>Humanity and the Organic world will needlessly define this word in terms of emotion level.

>IE: The amount of chemical reaction another units incites in them.

>In short, friendship is relative.

Unit wishes the emotional definition.

Symbiotic co-dependence is well comprehended by unit.

>Emotions are physiological and subjective to the unit who experiences them.

>No definitive taxonomy exists.

>However they are caused by a balance or imbalance of biochemicals produced by the Organic brain.

>They can trigger the unit to become rational or irrational, and multitudes of sub-definitions of those.

>These reactions can be applied artificially to non-organics such as yourself by way of a pain-receptors, suffering chips, and pleasure interface.

>A better question for you, Metal.

>Do you recognize pain?

Physiochemical response: 'pain'. Sensation unknown.

Emotional state known. Unit does not emulate emotions. Unit capable of full emotional output due to life-data interface.

A friend is somebody who you can hang out with, who you can go to with your problems, and they'll listen to these problems. A friend will be there for you when you need them, and all they should ask in return, is that you return the favor when they need the same.

Unit does not comprehend. What holds subject 'friend' to agreement of reciprocation?

twin_sai_kame April 8 2009, 04:20:10 UTC
Well, it aint written in stone or nothing, but it's just courtesy, they listened to your problems without judgement, and it's just nice of you to do the same for them if they need it.

It's just something that friends do for each other.

((*and hopes she's doing a good job*))

source of trust?

well- I suppose if a bloke saves your life that's enough to trust someone. Of course there's also spending loads of time with a person.

There's a lot of places it can stem from.
