Well, I have an extended lifespan of about one thousand years. My mother has nearly reached this age, but I am still unclear as to the exact details of how I will inherit the throne of Crystal Tokyo. Whether she...dies, or simply steps down, I do not know. Perhaps, as royal family, we don't completely die...

I see. I suppose that makes some sense. In my realm, the other rulers step down, and once they've vacated their position, slowly become a part of the world they once ruled, whether by becoming some piece of landscape or becoming an animal, or some such thing. Perhaps that is as it is with yours as well?
