[This is Ada. This is the one Vincent dedicated the poem to, the one Break mentioned. Dominic wasn't all too sure of their relationship to begin with, but now he's even more confused. From the way Break put it, it sounded like she was a pawn. But this...]

... Are you all right?

[A pause as she considers that. It does seem to be the major consensus. But there's still what Vincent said about not being as liked as he would like. That certainly didn't sound like a lie, and if he would admit to that, how much worse could it be? ... or at least, that's what she thinks.]

... may I ask why you think so?

[she smiles] Please don't misinterpret my words, that is to say... I appreciate your concern, and thank you for telling me your honest opinion.

But I cannot help but still have faith in someone who treats me kindly. However I would be happy to listen, if you truly do not believe it would be wise for me to have that faith.

[He's silent for a few moments.]

[He stops himself there, because he gets the feeling she wouldn't want him calling Vincent... less than nice things.]

B-But... The cat... Do you know what happened to it?

[Because the funny thing is that Break gave her a cat that was blind and she assumed it was part of some accident-- if it was no accident, then...]

Th-Then... Mister Break...

[Her eyes are starting to water. She'd been lied to by someone she trusted, and even more so deceived by Vincent. She turns away from the Dreamberry in attempts to hide her tears.]

F-Forgive me, Dominic. I... I'm sorry. Allow me a moment?

[unfearful]

[Now he feels guilty for making her cry.]

Y-Yeah, of course...

[It doesn't take her too long. Some tears fall, but they're quickly wiped away in an attempt to make it seem like they were never there. Now wasn't the time for crying, she had to make decisions and take responsibility. For Dominic, she forces a small smile.]

Ah, um... I think... that's really all I need to know for the moment. I am very grateful that you trusted me enough to speak honestly and... I wish I could say that I knew what to do, but... It is a complicated matter, after all.

Thank you Dominic, and I am sorry for what Vincent has apparently put you through. I do not understand his actions, but I apologize on his behalf.

[He looks surprised for a moment, before he smiles slightly.]

I... I'm still sorry. I can't imagine what he could have done...

[She no longer has any idea of what to think of Vincent.]

[Fortunately, nothing significant yet, other than the threats. As annoying as the disturbing compliments and whatnot were, Dominic knows that they're not worth complaining about.]

I hope he doesn't cause you any more trouble, at the very least.

[Honestly, for Vincent to manipulate someone this kind... Not that Dominic had any doubts about him being a bastard, but it still angers him nevertheless.]
