[Oh! This was the boy who toured her around the city. Definitely remembers you.]

Um, yes! I was so happy that she loved what I made.

[Yup!]

I'd bet. It looks like you worked hard, too!

[She laughs, a little embarrassed.]

It was my first time cooking omelet rice on my own. I'm really glad it turned out okay!

[A good dream, it seems, and of a mother and her child no less. Motherly instincts here. She nudges against the device, barking lightly to Tohru to greet her.]

[She nuzzles the camera, as though returning a good morning in turn.]

How are you?

[There was a pause before she answers. Last week did do a number on her.]

I'm all right, Amaterasu-san. How about you?

[Oh great. To say that Mother's Day coupled with the situation Kyou and Tohru found themselves was a hard pill to swallow would be an understatement. This only made things worse for him.

[He hadn't told her that he known Kyoko before... at least not to his knowledge. It was just one thing after the other, wasn't it. He sighs, wondering if this was a bad idea. Talking to her like this.]

...She really loved you, huh?

[Tohru is still wrapping her mind around what happened between the two of them. She wasn't sure what to make it so this made things awkward between them again.

She fidgets, heaving a deep breath before answering him.]

She did. She really... did.

[He knew she did. Whenever he had the chance to talk to her when he was younger, it was obvious how much Kyoko cared about her daughter. Unlike his own mother...]

You're lucky.

Thank you Kyou-kun.

I hope that... she's happy right now.

That was...a nice dream.

[Is she jealous...? She might feel a little jealous. She can remember when times with her mother were like that, and--]

[At least your mom is still alive, Yukari.]

O-oh! Thank you very much! It's been a while since I last dreamt about my mother...

[She has no idea how misplaced her jealousy is.]

Really? Well, it seemed kinda nice.

Oh-- sorry. I should stop watching people's dreams on this.

[Tohru won't hold it against her.]

No! [Shakes her head.] It's all right! I really don't mind.

[Kazuma smiled warmly at the dream, it was no wonder that Tohru had made such an impact on everyone in the Sohma family. To have such a big heart at even that young of an age.]

It was a wonderful gift.

... Thank you Shishou-san. Mom was so happy when she was watching me cook.

Because you were the one cooking. Children are able to make a parent happier than anything else.

[That makes her smile.]

I hope I did make her happy. That's all I wanted for her.
