Fic: Phineas & Ferb, PG; Two-Hundred and Eight Days

Well, I went ahead and wrote it. And somehow, it ended up being an extremely cathartic exposition on the death of childhood and the struggle for creativity in a mainstream society. (Who knew?) I'm a little worried that I managed to subvert everything the show stands for, but even Phineas and Ferb can't stay kids forever.

Oh, for the love of all things, this is gorgeous! I love how you've aged them, and how even though they've drifted apart, they're still connected. I love that this does seem to show the death of childhood, but still shows that there is hope for them/everyone, in the future. It's absolutely beautiful that you can take a show like Phineas & Ferb, and turn it into this piece with so much feeling. Absolutely brilliant.

Also, I completely laughed that Irving was still stalking them. XD

When I read the dedication I flailed a little bit. I will always be your cheerleader. :) ♥♥♥

Aw, thank you very much! I'm really glad you liked it. ♥

LoL, Irving is a true fanboy, and obsessions are forever. ;D (Though I can't help but feel it would be a little more ... creepy when they're older.)

You're such a sweetie. ♥ I am entirely undeserving, but also entirely grateful. ♥ ♥ ♥

Yeah, your number 1 cheerleader pretty much said it. This is a great fic you pulled off, considering you made something serious and mature out of the best cartoon in current existence. So props, man. Hope you write another. :)
