I decided that too many weeks had gone by without me watching Gackt's Requiem et Reminiscence II: Tour Final DVD, so I'm watching it now. It seems weird to say, especially since there's an enormous poster of him hanging in my apartment, but occasionally I forgot how utterly and completely I adore Gackt. But I do; oh, how I do. I also find it funny, that I found Malice Mizer after I discovered Gackt. Which is apparently quite weird, as I've been told by most of my friends. :3 ( ... )

I've dabbled in Jrock occasionally, but I can't say I know much about it really, so all information about it from people who do know what they're talking about is endlessly fascinating to me.

Eheh, Gackt is a strange, strange duck. But wonderfully strange. He's genuinely interested in mythology and the occult (and he's a total anime/manga/gamer nerd), but I think these days the vampire thing is more to mess with the media. XD He used to be in a very Goth-oriented band called Malice Mizer, which is where that all started; but these days, he just likes to be difficult, I think. Still, he's a fascinating guy. I adore him. ♥
