Oh, I am so sorry. Even just through reading here about him, it's easy to tell JD was a very special, very awesome rat, and I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. *hugs* I'm glad you had at least some warning, and are not utterly devastated. not gonna lie, I cried a little bit when I read this. reading about JD always made me smile, and i really will miss him, or his presence in your Lj.

*hug* I'm so glad I got to meet JD this summer - he was adorable. Hope you and Johan are OK, and I'm sure JD is enjoying his ratty heavean :).

He never did figure out how to use his ratty wheel XD He'd stand up on his hind legs with his hands on top of the wheel and try to hoist himself up, and the wheel would turn so he'd fall XD
