Have you read "A Good Man Is Hard To Find" by Kimonkey7?

It took me a chapter or two to get into it... but man or man, it might be my favorite fic. It's an ANGSTY journey both mental and physical for poor ol' Deano. (It's a "Dean" story I guess... but Sam is very, very much an important part.) It's long, but oh so worth it.

I remember being a bit wowed by it when I first read it. (Even read the short story the title was based on for kicks.) Never did I think I could buy Dean having an addiction like that, but buy it hook-line-and-sinker I did.

Can I just take the easy way out and say, "legoline's"? It is angst! It is fanfic! It is gen! And I would rec it!

But...I'm guessing you've read most of hers. :/ I have a few recs, but they're old because I am lame and do not get around fandom as much as I should oldies are the best!

- But I Never Could Sharpen No Blade, Quite the Way He Say by onelittlesleep (I cried at the end of this fic when I first read it, and it still rips my heart out. Gah.)
- This one and this one by jwynn
- Ooh, lots of stuff by tigriswolf. She writes lots of dark, creepy, and angsty stuff.

I'm afraid the easy way out won't work this time since, yeah, I pretty much read all of legoline's stuff, I think. Everything Supernatural related anyway. Girl's just that good.

The other recced fics, I don't know so much. So thanks for these. Will certainly check them out. ♥
