Layout Change

So, the inevitable happened and I switched to causette’s animated Supernatural mood theme of doom. It’s addictive, I swear and I so don’t need twice as long to read my flist now because I keep watching those mood icons play over and over.

I also decided to revamp my layout a little with overrides by _trendi, and

Love the new header... and the whole layout... (I actually LOVE the fact that the comment text is pink when I'm typing it ^^° - I started typing without looking at the screen and was mildly shocked (in a positive kind of way) by the text color when I looked up... okay, enough of the pink-love.)
I didn't even notice the "trustygeek.livejournal. com" until reading mad_about_dan's comment ^^ So I guess that speaks for itself... fits in perfectly... love it :)

Oh, always send as much love to this place as possible LOL And thanks *glee* The pink text thing is neat, isn't it? It's also psychology and supposed to make the commenters more talkative. Yes, I'm just that sneaky :D

The header is great!! I love the way you've managed to include your LJ adress in the picture but it's all blended together so well it seems real that it's the name of the station. Comic style for the win! &hearts!

Eee, thanks :) Wasn't too sure about the comic thing, so I'm glad you like it and the name tag thing was a lucky accident *gives extra cookie to photo shop*

Comic style header looks amazing! As does the one you're currently using; very bright and pretty. :D An awesome shot of Dean's baby, too. And yay for flattening before saving and hence ruining all chances of modifying! I feel so stupid every time I do that; it's like, the need to click on save is stronger than the knowledge that I will lose my layers (which is a bad thing). *facepalm*

Oooh, mood theme. Really, people, you all need to stop. It is incredibly distracting! I spend about ten minutes more than usual on each post these days. :D

Hi! I was reading your layout post and I got struck with an idea (no worries, not too painful ). I've been ever so pleased with the icons you let me use in my fic journal mercury_tate. A friend of mine, fireflyillusion just started a new community called snmissingscenes and she really needs a nice banner and some user icons. I thought you or someone you know might want to take a crack at designing something. I've really liked what I've seen on your journal.

First of all thank you and also thanks for the link, that comm hopefully gets all the attention it deserves. I love reading missing scenes and to have them all at one place certainly comes in handy. Unfortunately, I can't code myself (I know html but not css) but know what they're for when I look at premade overrides. However, I'll take a look around LJ for some premade layouts and as time will allow it, I may or may not give it a try.

And I will certainly spread the love in my next post :)
