Technical How-to's

I made this guide so that everyone will have a guide on some "technical" aspects of posts that can be found in this community. Quite useful for newbies ^^

All the programs that I'm using here are free based program. If you know some paid programs with the same functions, then please feel free to comment so that I can add here

THanks for the prompt response... I still having problem using Project X and E-soft.
Quick question:
Project X - after using this program it gives like log file (is this the m2v file?)
E-soft - when I tried to get the audio file it is like the process is looping. Like it never ends. Do I need to change some settings on it?
*Sorry for asking so many questions... I really to learn the above instruction that you shared above.

I don't know if it is possible. I hope you can convert Takki and Kismft2 pert into avi?

Project X - Yes, you'll get the m2v file (or i think mp2 file but it's a video (visuals only)

E-soft - You'll get an mp3 file. You have check the settings that it's mp3 > indicate the bitrate

Hmm.. I think E-soft can convert TS now directly to AVI. Just tweak the settings.

Sorry I'm very busy with work so I can't help you much on converting your files.

*Q* Oh this is great thank you!

And if we rip from a DVD or something is the file on that DVD damaged?
Plus if it has subtitles can we get them too? (Ex: AADBSK3)
