I have been reading alot about weight loss. My intial thought was to take the weight off as quick as possible. But after reading many of the articles it says you really shouldn't lose more than 2 lbs a week, if you lose more than that you start losing muscle. Didn't know that. So I have been eating less and eat some fruit when I get hungry ( Read more... )

I think you should just start shooting up chocolate. I'm sure you'll intake less calories that way. :-p

One of the other benefits of losing weight slowly is that it helps you get in the mindset that you are going to need to eat less for the rest of your life. If you are like me, your metabolism isn't going to speed up as you get older and it is going to be something you always will have to work on. I'm just glad that I can still have the occasional snack, though. Really strict diets suck. My chocolate fix is usually some semisweet chocolate chips. Less sugar is always preferable. For a while I was getting these chocolate bars at PC Market that had very little sugar in them. Very tasty and interesting (but expensive).
