I've said it once today already; no one here does something so benevolent without expecting sufficient payment. Not likely these beings are the exception to that rule. Especially when their arriving action in the City was blowing up a building housing the then-most powerful beings living here.

They must have some ulterior motive. There is simply no way they'd do this without something to gain. Their mannerisms, their way of talking... it doesn't have me convinced in the slightest.

They want something from us, but I don't know how we can work out what is, as of yet...

If they wanted to do that, they would have done it already, or removed us all by force and then done it. I am sure they have the technology to do so, judging by what I have seen so far.

I do not know what a warrior's instincts mean to you, Light-san, but mine tell me when battle is coming... and I feel like that now.
