So, first off, HAPPY (CANADIAN) THANKSGIVING to everyone who celebrated yesterday. I forgot to post about it yesterday, which is really pathetic considering I actually thought about it ahead of time, and still forgot ( Read more... )

Aw, I've been missing How I Met Your Mother lately, I've missed most of the new season. It's one of those rare sitcoms that can crack me up!

A Romeo and Juliet anime??! That'd be interesting...!

Yeah, it took me a bit to catch up... there have only been I think 5 episodes of the new season, and if it helps at all, CBS's website has them all available to watch for free. I don't know if it works in Canada; I know that my friend who's a JET in Japan can't watch stuff like that due to copyright differences or some such.

I'll probably comment on the Romeo and Juliet anime once I watch it. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

Ooh I should check that out ... when I have time *grumble grumble*

I did something really daggy the other day - I bought a copy of Entertainment magazine because it had a big picture of Edward on the cover. I even read the article! (but boy, that's a real thin mag, there's hardly anything in it but ads.) Now I don't know what to do with it!

btw, what is your icon? I've watched it countless times but I don't recognise it.

Hahahahahah, I was considering buying that magazine. I did end up buying the previous one, the one your icon is made from.

The icon is from True Blood... you can fully appreciate it because you've read the Sookie Stackhouse books. That's Sam sitting on the front steps of his trailer... see, what they keep doing is, right from episode one they have this Obviously Meaningful Collie that they show dramatic shots of, and having read the book, I'm like, OH YOU'RE SO OBVIOUS... I've taken to referring to it as "Plotdog." They are obviously heavily hinting that Sam = Plotdog, and you and I know where this is going. Then somewhere around episode 3, Sam is sitting on his steps and Plotdog comes running and Sam pets him! And I'm going AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH WHAT IS THIS?!?!

...it was pretty hilarious. Anyway, fellow LJ user Cleolinda, who is doing really good recaps of all the episodes, made that icon and it cracked me up.
