A couple of other tidbits of interest today:
Tony Blair to resign as PM - This surprised me, but I suppose if he has less than 1/3 approval rating.... maybe now is the time to go. He seems to be handling it nicely though, and it would seem that his stepping down is evidence of his sincere desire to do what's best for his country rather than just ( Read more... )

I took the 5th grader quiz and only got two wrong, the one about the fastest bird on foot (I actually thought it was ostrich, then changed it because I then guessed it was a trick question) and the one about the lowest prime number (where their answer is arguably wrong). So yeah, I don't feel too bad!

Heh, that's good. I missed the prime number question (yeah, that one is rather arguable, although wikipedia apparently agrees with them), the one about terms for representatives, oh! and the heptagon!! That one really threw me (being that 7 is normally 'sept' as far as I knew).

Yeah, but what does Wikipedia know? I mean, really? =^p As for heptagons, remember that the 7-event track & field competition in the Olympics is a "heptathalon," so there is precedent for the "h" in there.
