Now I just have to check the mailbox every day until the envelope comes... you know THE envelope. The envelope that will change the next four years of my life. The mailman will either become my best friend or my worst enemy.

(in response to above comment from Person I Don't Know) ...i actually DID apply to "Ivy League Columbia" (early decision!) and from my research and personal encounters, would like to defend the place as not merely a campus infested with "brainy nerdy kids" but actually a blob of smart, interesting people in New York City. and what's more, Columbia is nowhere near typical in terms of Ivies... much more chill and in touch with the real world. definitely not a Princeton or a Yale.
