I was just thinking back to this week one year ago. I was in Iceland (we typically vacation in mid-September and we've found flying on Sept 11 is wicked cheap for all you world travelers out there

I take my neck roll pillow, but probably wouldn't take regular pillows.

For Echo we take a good cast iron frying pan, but that's because we -know- there isn't a good one there, and leaving one results in rusty iron.

We have also begun bringing a pepper grinder, because we are spoiled, and who knows how old the pepper is in that cabinet!

I'd be reasonably confident that the place would have a corkscrew. We once got to the ranch and realized there wasn't one there. The old bit and brace drill worked great!

Thank you so much! After going to Peet's tonight (not easy to find) I got coffee ground for the french press and we'll bring that for coffee. :)

Good idea on the corkscrew, pepper grinder, and cast iron pan. :)
