Pre-school problems . . .

This is my first experience with pre-schools and registering and all that. In the county I live in, the public schools offer a 3 & 4 year old program. It is free - to those who qualify financially, and tuition-based for those who don't ( Read more... )

Boy, red tape sucks. I don't know what you're going through, as my experience with Griffin is all about getting the school system to pay for his therapy.

I figure if I'm going to have to pay for pre-school, I'm going to pay for a private school and not send her to a public school that I'm not too sure about.

Kindergarten next year should be a little easier, since I'll have more schools to choose from.

You don't qualify for Head start??? We always qualified for that program, and it was GREAT!!!

Try the Montessori schools and see if they can help in any way. It is the BEST young education I have ever found. Wish I could have kept all my kids in a program like that!

No, I apparently make too much money . . .will someone please tell my bill collectors that??!

I would love to put Shelby in a Montessori school, but their tuition is really high. I need to call around and see if they have financial aid.
