Daaah as always another great in-canon piece! You always pick such great characters to use xD Yes Chopper, you are very special and we all love you for it!

"He had taken that word, flipped it over in his mind, dissected it, put it back together. It wasn’t a new word to him, yet it felt so foreign." I love these two lines the most - especially 'dissect' which is a nice connection to our lovely reindeer's profession.

Also, Luffy is like the perfect person for Chopper to get this comfort from - considering he'll be the most special person in the world when he becomes the pirate king haha.

I'm glad you think so! I always find myself switching characters in the process of writing the drabble, to find the best fit. The original plan was Usopp, you see, but this spawned, and... Well, I have to say I'm happy about how it turned out. :)

Hehehe, "dissected", my first deliberate medical metaphor. English Lit is paying off. XD
