[Just another day at Senkou.

Which means that Masamune isn't really paying attention in class. Honestly, why would he - even though he has a huge interest in the English language, he's already done the homework and actually skipped chapters ahead. He absently begins sketching something in his notebook, only to jolt when the teacher calls on him for ( Read more... )

[Ami is usually in Masamune's role when it comes to school; she isn't the senshi of Knowledge for nothing. She's particularly good at English, since the dream retains not only her English classes but her experience studying abroad in America.

Today, she seems to be a bit younger, young enough to fit into his classroom. In fact, she doesn't seem out of place at all. Study and school are normal for her. She shoots Masamune a quick look. A studious guy is nice to know. She waits for the next question.

A test would be nice. She can finish it early and read a bit in a book.]

It was either this or sword training, so. :'D recycleddestiny March 13 2011, 18:37:53 UTC
[The look isn't missed, only to cause Masamune to raise an eyebrow for a moment before he goes back to his absent-minded doodling. He was sure that Kojuro would've been nagging him about at least trying to pay attention, but this was probably his easiest class, bar none. Well, that and Phys. Ed.]

[Ami answers the next couple questions easily, translating as easily as she had for Haruna-sensei's class back home.]

Hee. I think I might wait until later for it, though - just so I have a backup idea. recycleddestiny March 14 2011, 02:24:19 UTC
[Masamune doesn't really pay much attention for the rest of the class, half-heartedly answering questions as they came up. He was lost in thought, eye narrowing as he tried to grasp something vague, tingling the back of his skull - wasn't unpleasant, just ... irritating. Like something you know is bothering you but you can't pinpoint exactly what.

Apparently this is bothering him so much so he nearly forgets to pack up once class ends. Honestly, he was already contemplating skipping his next class to clear his head.]

[Willow's actually currently in college, so this dream suits her easily. Of course, she's in American college - it doesn't make any sense that she's learning English like it's a foreign language, but details shmetails.

She's sitting in the seat next to him and gives him a smile. In an undertone as the rest of the class goes on, she says,] Your accent was pretty good. Have you been practicing?

[That causes him to turn slightly, giving the slightest of shrugs. Last thing they needed was "Shimazu the Beast" on them for not paying attention.]

Pretty much. I've always liked learning about English.

If you're not busy after class, do you want to meet up and study together? I'm always down for more study buddies.

[She's trying to keep the conversation short, cognizant as he is that they don't want to get caught by the teacher. Willow is nothing if not a conscientious student.]

Maybe. I'm already helping one guy ... as hopeless as he might seem sometimes.

[A small sigh, but he doesn't mind. Though if you ever met him and Yukimura outside their study sessions, you'd think they were complete and utter rivals.

Which they technically were.]
