Hey, hey! What's that look for? I didn't think I was that intimidating.

I think I'm pretty close to it. I'm doing what I want now. Traveling with my friends--even if it's scary at times, we have good moments too. There are other people here too, aren't there?

We are not friends. We're nothing like that word. It really isn't the same.

[auncyenhalig]

Ah--crewmates? I'm sorry. I know why I'm here but I don't know why you are.

[sheistheswarm]

[ She shakes her head. ] I'm here on this ship as a prisoner, even if Jim doesn't call me one.

[auncyenhalig]

...Hmm. [ She turns to the side, thinking about that for a few seconds. Not knowing much about her, Aerith can't exactly say judge if she should be a prisoner or not. She doesn't seem that bad, but--well, even good people could do genuinely bad things. ] What does he call you, then?

[ There's a bitter smile on her face. ] Their hope.

[auncyenhalig]

Mm. [ Aerith's face looks a bit less gentle than it did before. ] Then he shouldn't be trapping you. [ She's reminded unpleasantly of how Tseng looked at her as a savior--and how that was the very reason he believed she had to be taken in. ]

He's not... it's everyone else. [ To be fair, she wasn't seen as a prisoner by Matt Horner or Jim. But, everyone else made it that way. ]

I don't think I'll understand it coming in only bits and pieces. It sounds complicated. But I hope that everyone can be free. The universe is so big... seems like if no one felt free, we'd just feel lost.

It's a complicated situation. One that shouldn't have happened.

Okay, then we'll talk about something else! [ She nods to herself. ] Are most of your dreams in space?

[ She shrugs. ] This is the first dream I can remember having in... a very long time.

You'll have more now. Maybe more strangers, too, but don't worry. We're just visiting.
