Not just any library but a massive one: wall to wall bookshelves, plush armchairs, mahogany floorboards and the entire thing lit with a warm flame that seems almost comforting. The kind that doesn't seem to give off a dangerous heat but perhaps the warmth that reminds one of home and hearth. The books on the

[He doesn't go to libraries very often--he's not a big fan of reading--but he's fairly certain this library will have that robotics book he's been looking for. He's just started to scan the shelves when he becomes aware of you. Oh great. A guy talking to himself. In a foreign language, even. He decides to keep an eye on you, which is why he notices when you notice him. He freezes, somewhat alarmed.]

[ There is a pause as he glances back up at the bookshelves and a minor look of irritation when he finds he's alone with the newcomer. Mr Sociable he's not but Adrian's gonna try.

So... for a second, he's just as frozen. ]

Can... can I help you with something?

Uh... Are you the librarian?

Not really, no... this is my father's library but you're welcome to the books. Everyone is. There's something in here for everyone so... help yourself.

[To her, it feels entirely at home. The visitor to turns out to be unmistakably Ami in her appearance, but dressed in an elegant, rich gown and with the sigil of Mercury on her forehead. She smiles softly to herself as she takes in the breadth of this library, the smell of the books and parchment, the crisp crack of the firelight.

She startles gracefully when she spots Adrian, but covers it smoothly by turning the motion into a slow nod.]

I fear I intrude upon your library. Please forgive me. Is it alright to stay awhile?

[ He's more used to dealing with kids than he is with adults so Adrian finds himself with the smallest smile. He greets her with the same small nod back after shelving the book he had in hand. ]

You're welcome to this place. It's not really what I'd call an intrusion. Anything you need?

[She shakes her head. She could easily lose herself in any library for many hours, quite contentedly.]

No. I am interested in the books. [She thinks a moment.] Do you know where some are about nature?

XD He just likes kids.

I guess it would depend what kind of nature you're looking for.

[ He pauses a moment, glancing around. ]

Flora, fauna, interesting rest spots, geography... I think we've got something around that in here. Name it.

[Teddy doesn't particularly like libraries, in all honesty. Like any true geek, he has a fair better option- the internet. Whether it's homework or personal research on the best way to breed a killer pokemon, the 'net is a lot easier and faster to use than any paper books. That being said, he's a little overawed by the sheer scope of this place. It's massive, and Teddy doesn't even know where to begin looking for... well, anything, really. But there's one thing in particular he's looking for, he just can't think of what it is. But he knows it's important. So very, very important- otherwise why would he be here?

So when he sees the man in the robes, he offers a sheepish smile. Not the best impression for a librarian, huh? But hopefully the man wouldn't mind.] Um... excuse me? Hope I'm not interrupting anything, but I was hoping you could help.

[ In a world which really hasn't figured out computers just yet and probably won't for a few hundred years, Google would probably go right over Aids' head. Books are his home, his constant companion. People, eh, well, he's learning.

Not really the most sociable guy on the planet but he'll try. ]

Nothing to interrupt. Anything I can do?

[Really, that's one thing that Teddy's always found kind of sad. While some others love fantasy stories and everything else, Teddy's always been a fan of the futuristic. Life without computers sounds terrible for him. So perhaps that's one reason he's a little lost now- not that he's a bibliophobe, not at all, he's just a little out of his depth. Being a superhero does cut down on research time. Especially when one teammate can search for information far faster than Teddy can dream of.

After running his hand through his hair- and thereby making sure he looks human and presentable- Teddy's grin widens a little.] This is probably going to sound a little stupid, but... I'm looking for a book. The only problem is that I don't know what it looks like or where it is. So... I was hoping you could help me.

[A pause, then he quickly adds something else, before he forgets.] If you don't mind. I kind of assume this is your library, so...

[ There are times when Adrian would cloister himself up in the library, times when all he'd do was read just to pass the time. Normally, he'd leave the adventuring up to his two buddies back home... unless they pulled him in. ]

It's the family's library really but everyone's welcome to it. There's so much in here that we thought it'd be better to share it with anyone.

[ And a bit of a sheepish grin. ]

Yeah, I kinda get that too sometimes. Maybe if you toss me a few subjects, we can find it?
