[This is a dream, so Willow doesn't question anything. She's standing in the corner of the alley, her nose in a book, the title vague and unreadable at the moment. She looks up at him, visibly concerned.]
Damnit! [He spins around, turning to face her. Yo9u're kidding, right? Where is she? She has to be here, there's nowhere to go. [He's frustrated and tired and he was so, so close. She can't have just disappeared.]
[ Yeah, Peter uses these back alleys to get back home after work. What, that's not weird at all. It's way weirder that this guy practically runs into him, because that never happens in New York. ]
Sorry, I-- [ Peter turns and looks around himself as if... Kate's something that fell out of this guy's pocket. ] --Don't think I saw anyone come this way.
[he looks skeptical] She had to have come down this way, there's no other place for her to go. [He sounds a little defeated, even though he's pretty sure what he says is true. He'd been chasing her for what seemed like miles. With how tired and sore he is, it would have been easier for her to slip him.]
